DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Senior Applications Developer, you will be performing advanced technical duties within the Public Safety Information Technology Delivery Center (PSITDC) supporting the Pennsylvania Justice Network (JNET) Solutions Application Support team. JNET is a hub for the Criminal Justice community of Pennsylvania to get secure access to and receive critical data from a variety of Commonwealth agencies and partners such as Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Pennsylvania State Police, Administrative Offices of Pennsylvania Courts, Department of Corrections, Department of Labor and Industry, and more.

In this role, you will be responsible for the supervision of a team that is responsible for supporting critical applications and services across multiple environments (Development, Staging and Production). This role is essential in ensuring the stability and reliability of our technology stack, which includes but not limited to MicroFocus Identity and Access Management, IBM MQ, IBM DataPower, SoftwareAG WebMethods, MongoDB, MS SQL, and Oracle WebLogic that allow us to deliver secure and robust critical services to the Pennsylvania Criminal Justice community. You will have the opportunity to work with other teams at JNET such as Quality Assurance, Business Analyst, Service Desk, and Development to provide support in day-to-day business. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 4 days a week and will be required to report in-office 1 day a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Applications Developer 2 or Computer Programmer 4; or Five years of information technology experience that includes three years of experience in applications development or applications maintenance; or Three years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or One year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
