The Shared Enterprises Services Division is seeking a Senior Applications Developer to act as the Software Development Lifecycle Architect within the Infrastrastructure and Economic Development (IED) Delivery Center. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As the Software Development Lifecycle Architect, you will be responsible for providing enterprise-wide services to PennDOT in the areas of application lifecycle management. You will develop, promote, enforce, and support application lifecycle management and continuous integration and delivery standards, policies, and procedures for commercial software applications. You will have the opportunity to serve as a technical lead and subject matter expert on software engineering technologies, methodologies, and testing processes for PennDOT business areas. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time however, you must report to the office once per month. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Applications Developer 2 or Computer Programmer 4; or Five years of information technology experience that includes three years of experience in applications development or applications maintenance; or Three years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or One year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
