DESCRIPTION OF WORK This Program Analyst 1 position provides support to the Division Chief and senior OD analysts by collaborating with bureau staff to analyze and evaluate agency policies, procedures, and projects. Analysts work to ensure our department can rely on accurate, up-to-date data, analyses, and reports. This position prepares data collection tools and gathers information through means including interviews, research, and agency contacts. The incumbent then analyzes and evaluates data on business operations, policies, and procedures to update the agency's knowledge management system and prepare reports to support recommendations for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of agency operations. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time, with the exception of reporting to the Northwest Office Building on Board meeting dates once every two to three weeks. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of paraprofessional analytical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
