DESCRIPTION OF WORK In the role of a Fiscal Management Specialist 2, your responsibilities will involve the preparation of monthly budget projection reports for all program areas within the Department of State. Additionally, you will assist in preparing the annual budget for the Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs licensing boards and commissions, including talking points packets, and present the budget presentation to the board. You will also be responsible for entering budget information for review by the Governor's Budget Office and/or Comptroller, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the organization's mission and administration's goals. Furthermore, you will gather fiscal data for budgetary evaluations and hearings, attend budget hearings, and maintain budgetary files, along with other related duties.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework:  You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 4 days a week.  After the initial on-site training, you will be required to come in office once every three weeks and as needed for ongoing projects.  In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed Internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 1;or One year of experience in professional fiscal administration, and a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field;or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Other Requirements:
