The Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is currently on the lookout for an Administrative Officer 1 to join their team in Dauphin County. In this role, you will play a crucial part in bridging the gap between internal and external users of driver and vehicle IT systems. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As part of this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, examining, and creating programs and regulations for operational protocols. You will also supervise and inspect the grant time coding system, prepare Memorandums of Understanding (MOU's), and enhance communication with departmental staff, external organizations, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders regarding IT records and system matters.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 75 hours bi-weekly. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. This position is eligible for an alternate work schedule upon completion of probationary period. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 2 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
