The Department of Environmental Protection is seeking an organized administrative professional to join our team as an Administrative Officer 1. This management position is under the general supervision of the Administrative Section Business Manager (AO2) in the Program Support Division of the Bureau of Clean Water. You will assist a high-ranking professional or administrative official in the management of agency programs. This position will primarily be responsible for assisting the Training Section staff with planning, developing, and implementing training resources, both virtual and non-virtual. The scope of the training section includes RCSOB staff, regional staff, County Conservation District offices, and the public. This position also provides administrative support in the implementation of the Bureau's Strategic Plan by managing the reporting on participant achievements for the Training Staff's various delivery methods. This position also acts as the BCW Payment Merchant Administrator for public uploads and payments. Further, this position will maintain bookkeeping and financial audit functions for all BCW spending, analyze respective reports, and ensure proper governmental accounting codes. This position also actively participates in procurement activities that include electronic purchase requests, p-card usage, and PO and non-PO invoicing.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days a week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday). In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
