Koniag Professional Services, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Primary Project Manager with Secret Clearance to support KPS and our government customer in Glynco, GA.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Must be on call 24 hours a day to administer all services typically included in enterprise security specifications, receive any complaints concerning performance of contract services, and rectify the causes of the complaints.

  • Execute operational decisions on behalf of the Koniag Professional Services contract team.

  • Must be available to support and assist all the client sites to ensure conformance to the specifications and provide the Contracting Officer status updates on all sites and ensure continuity of services at all sites.

  • Must be able to manage, maintain, and train a qualified staff of Site Project Managers.

  • Accurately maintain all personnel records including local and state-required certifications, time and attendance, disciplinary actions, promotions, commendations, status/payroll change reports.

  • Administer instructions to security personnel assigned to client sites and assure that all personnel are familiar with the facility and their duties.

  • Promptly apprise senior management of all unusual, emergency, and/or significant situations/factors concerning security personnel at the site.

  • Conduct or support personnel investigations of potential wrongdoing and report findings to company senior management.

  • Verify that all personnel receive and understand new, changed, or special instructions.

  • Accountable for the proper use and maintenance of all issued company and government equipment and property.

  • Manages staffing levels to ensure adherence to budget and compliance with contract technical requirements.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be previously fully commissioned by an accredited law enforcement agency or possess a Diploma or Certificate as a graduate of a Federal, State, local or military service approved/recognized basic law enforcement or a physical security academy.

  • Capable of obtaining a National Security Clearance at the Secret level.

  • Must satisfactorily be capable of completing Physical Agility Testing (PAT) and Weapons Qualifications prior to assuming duties.

Education:

  • Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice, or a minimum of 10 years’ experience in law enforcement or a security related area.

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
