Cedar Fair Workforce Scheduling Internship in GALVESTON, Texas

Overview:

WFM Coordinator will perform timekeeping functions for each department in the Park, coordinating calls from associates who may be unable to fulfill their shift, notifying the appropriate department of the absence, and coordinating the effort to fill the open shift. Communicating trends to the scheduling team, which may impact staffing levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving phone calls from associates who may not be able to fulfill their scheduled shifts and communicate the absence to the appropriate department.

  • Coordinating the covering of shifts, left open due to associates calling out, by contacting associates who may be available to work and adding the shift to the schedule in Kronos.

  • Communicate the status of submitted time off requests with associates via email, telephone, or in person.

  • Coordinate the resolution of associate scheduling concerns, by directing the associate to the appropriate scheduler, leadership team, or resolving the concern themselves.

Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of experience required

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent is preferred

  • Strong proficiency in excel.

  • 1+ years of experience in WFM and scheduling functions for a workforce management platform (UKG preferred).

  • 1+ years of experience with scheduling compliance rules and regulations.

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting, repetitive hand motion, hearing, oral communication, standing, walking

  • Subject to inside working conditions
