About you and This Role:

This job is 50% Project Manager and 50% Process Automation Technology Lead for Environmental Operations.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple projects from initiation to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful project management, strong leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities.

As EnvOp Process Automation Lead, you will serve as the contact within the Business for Process Automation technology and will assist the business leadership team in the assessment of process automation technology needs, resource needs and support strategy. You will also be accountable for the successful development, implementation and continuous improvement of MET in the process automation space. This position can be located at any Dow North America site.

Responsibilities:

Process Automation Technology Lead

  • Provides expertise in the advancement of process control/ automation technology, operability, and profitability.

  • Assesses and manage the lifecycle of process control systems in each site.

  • Maps and assesses current state of process control in each site.

  • Creates an inventory of the different control systems and their state per site.

  • Defines the vision for the business in the process control space.

  • Develops a strategy for the business in the process control space.

  • Communicates strategy to stakeholders, align execution plans and drives execution.

  • Leads development, documentation and application of MET, together with the process technology SMEs or technology center associates.

  • Supports projects with process control input.

  • Is accountable for completion of LOPAs and DowGEP assessments to ensure Loss Prevention Principles (LPP) 15.2 and 15.4 compliance) is achieved across EOB.

  • Collaborates with Improvement Leaders on TICA gap analysis and plant specific technology plans to drive improvements in asset utilization, reliability, operability, and other areas.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of Engineering degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 ranking OR Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class ranking.

  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.

  • Must be willing and able to meet all applicable requirements related to business travel up to 25% of time (e.g., as to immigration and visa rules, public-health mandates, airline rules, etc.) into and out of (and physical presence in) various countries world wide.

  • Must have the ability to work comfortably and safely at elevated heights. Candidates must be familiar with, or willing to undergo training in, the proper usage and maintenance of safety equipment to ensure safe movement and operations at heights.

  • Applicable to Candidates Located in North America Only: A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in the United States or Candada. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
