Robert Half Contracts Manager/Paralegal in Fort Myers, Florida

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Paralegal/Contracts Manager in the construction industry, based in Fort Myers, Florida. This role involves reviewing, editing, and negotiating customer, subcontractor, and vendor contracts, and assisting with transaction responsibilities to ensure the timely execution and implementation of contracts.

Responsibilities:

• Review, edit, and negotiate contract language for customer, subcontractor, and vendor agreements in various areas such as solar industry, construction/installation services, and material supply

• Assist with the drafting and revising of company agreement templates

• Act as a liaison with outside counsel when required

• Assist internal teams with project closeout documentation, ensuring project controls are met

• Provide support when needed related to risk management such as bonds, certificates of insurance, claims, IP, etc.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and customer service standards

• Use skills in contract administration, commercial contracts, contract negotiation, etc., to perform duties effectively.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years experience in a Contracts Manager role within the construction industry.

• Proven skills in compliance and contract administration.

• Extensive knowledge in construction processes and regulations.

• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and draft commercial contracts.

• Proficient in managing and maintaining contract documentation.

• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships.

• Prior experience in contract negotiation, specifically within the construction sector.

• Ability to handle multiple contracts and ensure all are compliant with industry standards.

• Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on detail and accuracy.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
