SOSi is seeking an experienced Deputy Program Manager to provide administrative, security, operational, analytical, and logistics staff support for a program providing analytical language support to critical national security missions.The mission is to provide the customer with qualified resources that will perform scanning, translating, transcribing, and analysis of foreign language materials as well as report drafting and quality review. The DPM shall assist with the successful cost, schedule, and performance of the contract and will serve as an alternate point of contact for the Contracting Officer (CO), the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), the Government Program Manager, and the SOSi Program Manager.
Essential Job Duties
Monitors program objectives, assignments, budgets and schedules
Implements program Standard Operating Procedures
Tracks and supports contract deliverables to ensure program compliance, accuracy, and on-time delivery of tasks
Tracks employee performance and monitors program progress relative to established schedule(s)
Responds to and resolves employee questions and concerns
Monitors and approves expenses related to labor, travel and other direct cost
Interfaces regularly with Program Manager providing program status updates, reports issues and mitigation strategies
Supervises subordinate staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks and maintenance of work quality standards
Produces daily, weekly, and monthly activity and performance reports and other written materials; provides analysis and recommendations to the Program Manager to support decision-making
Minimum Requirements
Active in scope TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school
Eight (8) years of experience supporting U.S. Government contracts including four (4)years of experience specifically managing intelligence service and/or language analyst personnel
Excellent business acumen developed analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to multi- task and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Ability to manage confidential information
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required
Work Environment
Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Must be comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment
Some evening, weekend, or shift work could be required
