JANUS Research Group, Inc. PowerApps Developer in Fort Eustis, Virginia

Target salary range:105k-130k. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

We are looking for aPowerApps Developerto join our Army team at JANUS Research Group.

Your day-to-day work will include:

  • Develop and provide application development expertise and support on MS PowerApps and on our .NET based applications.
  • Build and test high quality, efficient, and maintainable applications to automate manual processes.
  • Gathering and understanding of the client requirements and proposed application enhancements.
  • Help build and maintain best practice adoption and usage throughout the development process, including proper execution of exception handling, metric reporting, use of global variables, and other 'wrapper' techniques.
  • Leading and participating in the design, development, and testing of all applications.
  • Collaborating, and coordinating with multiple application teams with PowerApps (automation development, best practices, lessons learned, etc.).
  • Experience implementing various Microsoft Power Platform components including Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, and Dynamics 365.
  • Understand the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) model and install, configure, and augment the CoE Starter Kit.
  • Work in an agile environment and provide technical leadership to the team throughout all agile ceremonies.
  • Serve as a lead to help guide our clients to effectively use the Microsoft Power Platform with best practices and methodologies.

At a minimum you should have:

  • A current SECRET (or higher) clearance.
  • Programming experience with modern programming frameworks, languages, and tools
  • Experience using MS PowerApps and other applications within the MS Power Platform
  • Programming experience with applications such as .NET, C#,
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle Management.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
