Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a Solutions Expert to develop comprehensive technical, management, and price solutions in response to request for proposals across the Defense Division. The responsibility for determining our customers’ needs and priorities, crafting technical solutions responsive to those needs, helping to shape customer acquisitions, and positioning GDIT to win makes this both a challenging and rewarding opportunity!

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • As a Solutions Expert you will support the business strategy that helps ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on Solution Expert joining our team to shape and pursue contract opportunities that enrich our business and provide interesting and compelling work for our employees.

HOW Solution Expert WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Lead full lifecycle solutioning efforts to align our technical solutions capabilities to the customers unique requirements

  • Lead technical contributions to capture efforts, acting as the conduit for innovation and technology thought leadership from the entire organization and apply to the solutioning effort

  • Facilitate aspects of our capture of contract opportunities, working across functional teams to deliver successful contract wins and supporting contract transitional efforts

  • Integrate with our System Engineering, IT Service Management and Capability Teams to bring the best of our solutions to opportunities and proposals.

  • Gain valuable experience in both technical and people leadership aspects of the role to harmonize the inputs of the team into a common voice in the proposals and customer messaging.

  • Bring forward your technical domain knowledge in Enterprise IT Infrastructure and Network Deployment and Operations to enrich a growing capability team focused on market leadership in the Defense Marketplace

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business-Information Systems, Business or related field

  • Required Experience : 15 years of progressive technical leadership experience

  • Technical Skills : Demonstrated Technical Knowledge in Network Operations (Edge/DDIL, Air Gap, CSfC/MILS, Wireless) and Infrastructure (Virtualization/Network Function Virtualization, Storage, Compute, Database, Cloud Network) within unclassified and classified environments.

  • Managing/Customer Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills that enable innovative design and technical thought leadership in a rapidly evolving business environment.

  • Security Clearance Level : Top Secret

  • Preferred Skills: Experience working with Government Customers, specifically the US Military. Desired certificates: Juniper /CISCO, VMWare, and/or Cloud (AWS/Azure) - Professional Level

  • Location : Remote, Telework

The likely salary range for this position is $161,500 - $218,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
