Sr Solution Consultant: Workday HCM

Location: Office-Based Exton / Home-Based US / Hybrid

Position Summary:

Bentley is embarking on a transformational journey to modernize sales, marketing, integration, and ERP platforms to upscale our user experience and processes across the enterprise. This position is part of the Digital Business Enablement team which supports internal projects that impact a variety of internal and external stakeholders to deliver world-class enterprise applications. The Digital Business Enablement team is focused on streamlining our processes and creating engaging, efficient, and powerful user experiences. To complement this effort, the team is looking for a senior solution consultant to drive Workday’s HCM solution design, implementation, and operations in support of our broader transactional processing application landscape. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and have experience with design and implementation of Workday HCM technology solutions.

We are looking for a well-organized, process-oriented leader with the ability to build strong relationships across multiple business groups, to become a trusted advisor in Bentley's critical enterprise applications data landscape. Your Day-to-Day:

  • Partner with Bentley’s Colleague Success teams to understand HCM requirements, challenges and determine solution options.

  • Lead design sessions to develop designs leveraging standard capabilities of Workday HCM, including in-system demos.

  • Conduct assessments to identify solution options, with advantages and disadvantages, and make recommendations to business partners.

  • Drive regular planning processes with business stakeholders to establish priorities aligned with our strategic objectives.

  • Execute designs with configuration of Workday HCM solutions to automate and streamline processes and controls.

  • Develop, test, and implement Workday HCM solutions based on business requirements.

  • Collaborate across application teams to integrate Workday with other key transactional processing systems for a tightly integrated landscape.

  • Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the entire organization and drive management methodologies with change champions in other teams.

  • Foster a collaborative environment where differing perspectives are encouraged and acknowledged.

  • This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week.

  • Does this role require communication with Managers, peers and other colleagues of the company by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.

  • This role does not require travel.

  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements (https://www.bls.gov/ors/factsheet/visual-overview-of-physical-demands.htm) ).

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, information technology, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the design, implementation, and operations of Workday HCM capabilities, or a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Workday HCM concepts, principles, and practices.

  • At least one full-cycle Workday HCM implementation from planning to go-live; including hands-on experience with system configuration.

  • Experience leading stakeholders to industry-leading practices and standard capabilities of Workday’s transforming business processes.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills: exceptional writing skills. Effective communication in written and verbal form.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines and pressure.

  • A proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach, with the willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges.

  • A professional certification in HCM is a plus but not required.
