Responsibilities:

• Purchase a wide range of commodities and services.

• Develop and maintain suppliers based on the best value of quality, delivery and price including negotiating and developing long-term partnering agreements.

• Work in an MRP manufacturing environment.

• Perform the complete supply chain function of determining need/validating requisition generation, RFQ process, negotiations, award and follow-up.

  All IS&S positions may include duties beyond those outlined within a description or generally expected within business, but you are expected to raise questions about any task that may be outside your physical or professional capabilities.

  All IS&S associates are expected to take responsibility to assure the safety of themselves and their colleagues, the security of company facilities and the protection of proprietary information or technologies.

  Professional Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Business or Engineering highly desired.

• Three (3) to five (5) years purchasing experience.

• Experience in aerospace industry.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• MRP experience.

• Experience with ISO 9000.

  Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 40 lbs.

• Capable of reading small print.

• Shift varies between standing, walking, reaching, sitting, bending and lifting.
