Position Summary

We are seeking a Marketing and Lead Generation Manager for our Eugene-based graduate programs to work in partnership with the Admissions Office and the Strategic Communications Office at the Lundquist College of Business. Reporting to the Director of Lundquist Admissions, you will play a key role in identifying, designing, and implementing marketing strategies for our graduate degree programs.

Your objective will be to increase lead volume and enrollment by developing and executing a best-in-class strategic marketing plan. You will be responsible for attracting incoming students to our MBA (Master of Business Administration), MSF (Master of Science in Finance), MAcc (Master of Accounting), and future Eugene-based graduate programs.

To succeed in this role, you must have a proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members, faculty, prospective and current students, alumni, industry representatives, administrators, and staff. This position requires a flexible work schedule and evening and weekend work may be required.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and three years of increasing professional responsibility that includes a combination of experience managing strategic and digital marketing initiatives, and executing communications and marketing.

OR

• An equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 7 years.

Professional Competencies

• Strong strategic marketing and/or communications background including experience in campaign building, social media marketing, email marketing, advertising, design, and website content development.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (or similar), and e-mail marketing and social media software and services.

• Applied knowledge in content marketing and search engine optimization best practices.

• Experience overseeing and executing SEM (search engine marketing) and social media PPC (pay-per-click) advertising campaigns.

• Experience collecting, analyzing, and accurately reporting marketing and web analytics data and KPIs (keep performance indicators).

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, professionally, and effectively, using a range of communication channels, with diverse groups of students, faculty, administrators, alumni, staff, and other partners and business professionals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field; MBA preferred.

• Experience managing admissions marketing in higher education.

• Experience optimizing marketing funnels and lead tracking/source data into CRM (customer relationship management) software and tools to increase lead volume and lead conversions.

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and web content management systems (Drupal or similar).
