Major/Essential Functions:
Provides consultations and clinical services in outpatient and inpatient settings
Supervises residents and medical students in clinical setting
Participates in education of residents and medical students
Engages in advancement of scientific knowledge through research and/or scholarship
Serves the academic community through participations in institutional governance, such as committee work and other administrative duties
Contributes to the community through academically-related public service complementary to the institutional mission
Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures.
Demonstrate professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine’s Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility

Preferred Qualifications:

Regional or emerging national reputation for the rank of Associate Professor or higher

Required Qualifications:
M.D. or D.O. degree
Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program for Psychiatry
Licensed or eligible for an unrestricted medical License in the State of Texas
