Ford Motor Company Supply Chain Material Cost Analyst / Special Projects in Dearborn, Michigan

The Ford Purchasing team adds critical value to the entire organization. You’ll help us source the highest quality parts and services from around the globe while ensuring optimal cost and on-time delivery. You’ll also contribute to establishing a robust supply chain so that we can continually produce the vehicles our customers want.

In this position...

  • As a member of the Supply Chain Material Cost team, you will play a key role in shaping the financial success of our current and future vehicles.

  • You will have the opportunity to oversee all commodities and establish strong business relationships with cross-functional teams.

  • Your input will directly influence decisions that drive profitability and improve our overall business performance - through both your developed expertise within your scope and broader ad hoc contributions.

What you'll do...

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify project requirements, scope, and objectives.

  • Support the development streamlined organizational channels.

  • As part of healthy organizational change management; ensure transparency, awareness, knowledge, adoption, and recognition.

  • Increase consistency and efficacy across teams, aligning to workforce strategy and business priorities.

  • Analyze large data and provide ad-hoc support for business cases and special projects.

  • Utilize data analysis to support cost-reduction projects.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery and efficiency.

  • Provide analytical support for specific areas of the vehicle (interior, exterior, or chassis) across multiple vehicle programs.

  • Exhibit strategic thinking capabilities and dynamic problem-solving skills.

You'll have...

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • 3+ years of applicable experience in Supply Chain Management.

  • Detail-oriented, strong analytical and Excel skills

  • Quick learner that can multi-task, change priorities quickly and handle competing deadlines

  • Good communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to think critically and apply a design/systems thinking approach toward operationally efficient work

  • Ability to partner with a cross-functional team

  • Strong project management skills- capable of managing multiple workstreams

  • Desire to lead change and develop more efficient process alternatives

  • Knowledge of Alteryx, QlikSense, Ariba, SAP helpful but not required

This position is a range of salary grades 5-8 .
