Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a DevOps Engineer for a large OEM in Michigan. This candidate will be required to be local to Dearborn and go onsite as needed with the rest of the team. The platform the team is working on is customer facing and the team is turning visualization software into features a customer can see and visualize themselves. Majority of the day to day responsibilities will include fixing pipelines, standing up new pipelines, performing support where needed in pipelines, writing Groovy scripts and working on database backups. Every 5-6 weeks there will be additional engineering requests to complete along with documentation done through Confluence.

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineers with languages Groovy or Java doing declarative coding to build pipelines

• 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms including GCP preferably with Cloud Run

• 3+ years of experience with hands on Jenkins or GitHub Action scripting and building of pipelines

• 3+ years of experience with Linux systems including Bash

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code software -- Terraform is preferred, but if not then Ansible or Chef - Knowledge of Jira or Rally

• Knowledge of Grafana

• Knowledge of Tekton

• Knowledge of Confluence null
