Job Description:

The post-doctoral research position consists of working with both O’Donnell Institute faculty and the curatorial staff of the Crow Museum of Asian Art at the University of Texas at Dallas while conducting research on the museum’s permanent collection. This successful candidate will work closely with the Crow’s Curator of Asian Art to build continued research for the permanent collections of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean art.

In addition to research, the successful candidate will be expected to organize and give gallery talks and graduate student workshops. There is a possibility of teaching one course in the spring semester of 2025.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D in a related field.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Applicants must have Ph.D. in hand at the time of application and preferably have a specialization in Asian Art. We especially welcome applications with a recent Ph.D. whose research is relevant to the arts of East Asia.
