Emperical Foods Program Coordinator in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota

Overview

Coordinate, monitor and initiate (when applicable) technical training scholarship programs that create external, sustainable talent pipelines in the technical skills arena, and enhance the capabilities of employees through continued learning and skills training. The overall goal is to boost productivity for the company by creating a pool of more knowledgeable and capable employees.

Responsibilities

  • Devise and implement marketing initiatives/campaigns for programs under the empirical University umbrella, which include but is not limited to

  • Representing the company at various community and recruitment events, education institution visits and networking with other relative organizations

  • Use of social and traditional media outlets

  • Serve as a community relations liaison

  • Organize company tours

  • Creation of external and internal ambassador programs

  • Support overall growth and development of programs under empirical University; technical training and scholarship programs.

  • Monitor, coordinate, and determine how programs are administered focusing on efficiency, relevant documentation, proper tools, and funds being utilized in a way that promotes the overall success of the programs and organization.

  • Manage and coordinate activities for the scholarship selection committee(s) as needed.

  • Through effective communication will keep stakeholders aptly informed with the goal to maintain stakeholder buy-in. Provide input to management which enables the organization to be strategic about current and future programs.

  • Participate in the evaluation of educational institution programs and contribute to the process of determining and defining a business case to move forward with a career pathway program.

  • Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, students, administration, and the public both in verbal and written format.

  • Previous experience in public speaking and presentation skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and a Human Resource database system is preferred.

Demonstrated Competencies

  • Analytical skills, service orientation, active listening, critical thinking, attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fast paced ever changing environment.

  • Ability to work under time restraints, meet deadlines, appropriately handle sensitive data.

  • Ability to lead, fostering a team environment.

  • Must have regular and punctual attendance.

Physical Requirements

  • Office setting

  • Travel required

Experience: Minimum 1-year relative experience such as work in Human Resources or initiating relevant new programs.Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant area of study.Department: Human ResourcesReports to (if applicable):
