IS AV Systems Specialist Requisition ID 2024-48674 Category Information Technology Overview The IS A/V Systems Specialist serves as a leading resource in the use and support of digital media. Deploys and maintains A/V equipment across all Nationwide Children's Hospital locations. Researches and implements best practices for A/V integration and usage per industry standards. Also responsible for the development of finished digital media projects and providing input on leading edge digital media hardware and software. This is a full time, benefits eligible position. Responsibilities Installs, operates, updates, troubleshoots and maintains A/V equipment including video projection systems, video capture and editing systems, audio recording and editing systems, sound reinforcement and mixing equipment, and video teleconferencing systems. Maintains knowledge of current state-of-the-art technologies in areas relevant to meeting technology, including presentation systems, equipment and streaming media. Consults and advises customers on the use of digital media in presentations and educational applications. Provides technical and scheduling support for video teleconferencing systems. Professionally records, edits, assembles, and produces audio and video programming. Creates new content and adapts / converts existing content. Sets up lighting scenarios and engineers audio for both studio based and location videography. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mass Media, Electronics, Visual Communication or related field, or equivalent professional experience. Licensure: Valid Ohio Driver's License with proof of auto insurance. Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in digital media hardware including linear and non-linear video editing equipment, multicam switching, audio recording and editing equipment, and video capture and conversion equipment. Extensive knowledge of professional media software such as, Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Soundtrack Pro and Episode as well as consumer level software like iMovie, MovieMaker and GarageBand. Knowledge of digital media standards. Proficiency in video teleconferencing equipment, software and underlying protocols. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and in industry-standard tick
