Description of Duties:

The Data Management and Systems Administration Intern supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

Act as primary resource for Removable Media transfers:

· Manage Aspen Removable Media workflows

· Act as transferee to Space Sensors Security Team

· Assist in minor Systems Administration tasks

· Attend meetings as assigned

Successful candidate will:

· Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

· Have proficiency with MS Office most notably Excel

· Have basic knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint

This internship will be a three-phase program consisting of:

Phase One - Orientation: Intern fully understands his/her role on the team and clear roles, responsibilities, authorities, and accountabilities have been established between intern and leadership team.

Phase Two - Execution: During the execution phase the expectation is the Intern will have completed all necessary onboarding tasks, initial training, and obtained appropriate training and user accounts. The Intern will be familiar with tools, processes and forms. Be able to support submit of CRQs into database. Be able to submit CRMTS requests and update Aspen workflow.

Phase Three – Conclusion: Intern concludes projects / tasks, is afforded an opportunity to develop and present a professional presentation to leadership. Intern demonstrates critical thinking skills to provide their perspective on the internship process, lessons learned, and the degree to which this internship prepared them for transitioning from college.

The Intern Program is proposed to begin May, 2024 and is planned to conclude approximately November 30, 2024.

This position can be filled at Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO.

This position is expected to pay $42,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days. If a candidate has not been selected at that time, it will continue to be posted until a suitable candidate is selected or the position is closed.

Basic Requirements:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 1 year of general experience; Associate’s degree and 0 years of general experience.

· Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

· Must be able to obtain COMP Tia Security or equivalent within 6 months to be considered for permanent position post internship
