KBR is seeking a Enterprise Data, Applications and Platforms (EDAP) Technical Lead to support the SPO in the development, delivery and operation of software and data services within GED.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and evolve platform, data, enterprise and mission messaging/timing/ephemeris services with agility, speed and security across the entire acquisition lifecycle

  • Transition legacy capabilities for messaging/timing/ephemeris to the common infrastructure, keeping data centricity as a core tenant

  • Enable FGA stakeholders to: (1) collaborate and continuously develop, test, integrate, and operate mission capabilities; (2) securely access, orchestrate, and execute mission capabilities; (3) efficiently manage, monitor, and report on mission capabilities; (4) and acquire, condition, protect, store, access, discover, deliver, and manage mission datasets.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contractor support allocated to GED/EDAP SPO.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Expertise in defining services, architectures and managing consequent requirements

  • Experience with different cloud frameworks and platforms as well as development and delivery of shared services and applications in a cloud environment

  • Experience using Agile acquisition techniques, software engineering, enterprise services, and enterprise, end-to-end integration is required

  • Knowledge on current and emerging SE techniques for Agile software development methodologies responsive to Data as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Infrastructure as Service environments

  • Experience developing technical architectures to offer brokered software and data services.

  • Experience managing all aspects of the software life cycle, such as software supply chains and licenses, software quality, software reuse, software procurement, software movement and distribution, software assurance, and software security in compliance with the Risk Management Framework.

  • Experience using software tools for building and automating new software services, including tools for collaboration, continuous end-to-end integration and delivery, software development, static code analysis, and test management.

  • Experience using services for securely executing software, such as services for accessibility, continuous monitoring, credential management, and system orchestration.

  • Experience using platform management services to efficiently monitor, manage, measure, and analyze software and data services.

  • Experience using software tools and services for acquiring, conditioning, protecting, storing, accessing, discovering, delivering, and managing datasets.

  • Experience using Agile methodologies for software development and project management to provision software, data, and platform services.

  • Experience with techniques for messaging and information sharing.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree in computer science engineering or related technical field

  • Ten (10) years of experience with GEOINT, SIGINT, and/or Multi-INT systems

  • Ten (10) years of software system acquisition experience

  • Ten (10) years of managing projects of similar size and scope

  • Three (3) years of experience leading and participating in cross organizational teams to develop and execute software life cycle acquisition plans

  • Two (2) years of experience using Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (Cl/CD), methodologies (e.g., DevOp pipeline ) in the acquisition. development, and deployment of platforms, software services, and data services

  • Two years (2) of experience with Agile software methodologies to (1) Acquire and int grate platforms, software service , and data services; (2) Manage the acquisition, testing, deployment, sustainment, and evolution of platforms, software services, and data services; (3) Perform quality assurance; identify risks and develop risk mitigations for platforms, software services, and data services.

Security Clearance:

  • Active TS/SCI Polygraph. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
