Summary:The Business Team Project Lead will manage the overall strategic and tactical planning of a business. The Business Team Project Lead will coordinate with the Division Manager to manage all aspects of the business; from analyzing business results, developing strategic plans, staffing personnel and driving sales and marketing initiatives to sustain and grow the business.

  • Brief management on project status and obtain approvals as required

  • Coordinate and communicate with other internal program groups

  • Work with team to manage monthly review of financials to determine necessary tactical and strategic business adjustments

  • Manage the daily operations in support of programmatic requirements

  • Support project with training and developing people based on staffing needs

  • Draft and coordinate correspondence

  • Periodic travel required

  • Develop and implement business and marketing strategies

  • Manage project schedules collaborating across multi-disciplined teams

  • Perform business analysis and reporting of existing businesses

  • Conduct and analyze market/industry research in support of commercial strategy

  • Create and manage the daily business operations in support of programmatic requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • High School Diploma/GED required, MBA preferred

  • 10 years working with commercial businesses

  • PMP Preferred

  • Experience training and developing people

  • International Business experience preferred

  • TS/SCI with a FS poly preferred
