We are looking for a Quality Control Technician in the Buffalo, New York area. Must have experience implementing and maintaining quality assurance policies and procedures in accordance with ISO 9001:2015. Looking for a hands on candidate comfortable preforming quality and manufacturing tasks. Apply if skillsets and qualifications align.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.

• Interpret and implement quality assurance standards.

• review efficiency of quality and monitoring systems working closely with production to ensure continual improvement or product and processes

• plan conduct and document internal audits and other quality assurance activities.

• investigate & respond to non-conformance issues

• collect quality data, analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system

• develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions

• prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities; preparation of management review

• identify training needs and organize and/or conduct training to meet quality standards

• co-ordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers, evaluate audit findings, and implement appropriate corrective actions

• monitor risk management activities

• responsible for document management systems

• assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements

• review and update as necessary the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) otherwise known as Safety Data Sheets (SDS) or Product Data Sheets (PDS) as the case may be (whenever there is a change to the product or its material content)
