Position Summary:
The sustainable systems engineering lab of Aurora del C. Munguia Lopez is seeking motivated postdoctoral researchers with an excellent work ethic and background in process design, mathematical optimization, and life cycle assessment.
Job responsibilities will include:
developing computational tools to provide insights into the economic and environmental impacts of sustainable products and technologies
identifying the optimal design for sustainable supply chains
publishing relevant results in scientific journals

Minimum Qualifications:
PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related field. The candidate should have a background in at least one of the following areas: optimization, programming (e.g., Python, Julia), life cycle assessment
Preferred Qualifications:
A strong publication record
Ability to work independently
Previous experience in projects similar to the position summary items is highly desired
