Fedcap Partner Coordinator in Bronx, New York

Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Deputy Director of Business Development, the Partner Coordinator is responsible for developing partnerships with organizations that provide relevant and quality internship, training, and community service experience to participants in the program. They will represent Fedcap and the Career Services program with the utmost professionalism and integrity. They will be responsible for reviewing and explaining partnership agreements and establishing Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) adhering to Fedcap’s standard operating procedures. The Partner Coordinator will also work to deepen existing partnerships that are beneficial to participants. They will ensure that all Business Development efforts are documented and tracked and that new partners are entered accurately into Fedcap’s internal database. The Partner Coordinator is also responsible for conducting regularly scheduled site visits to ensure partners are complying with partnership agreements.

Essential Job Functions :

  • Establish partnerships with agencies that offer internship, training, and community service opportunities that are in line with participants goals and based on the results of an individual’s assessment.

  • Deepen existing relationships with partners offering internship, training, and community service opportunities to individuals in our Career Compass and Youth Pathways program.

  • Diversify opportunities developed based on the interests and needs of program participants outside of our funder repository, which include both on site and remote opportunities for participants.

  • Track all partner and business development activity daily and provide ongoing updates to supervisor.

  • Ensure partnership agreements (Memorandums of Understanding) are reviewed with new partners and filled out completely and accurately following Fedcap’s standard operating procedures.

  • Maintain internal reports and update Fedcap’s internal database with new training, education and community service partners.

  • Conduct site visits to internship, community service and training partners to review processes and to ensure sites are complying with partnership agreements and that services are meeting the needs of program participants.

  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is on file and all parties understand partnership agreement prior to referring participants to sites.

    Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Education, other related filed or comparable work-related experience

  • Superior communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Experience and/or a demonstrated desire to work with the economically disadvantaged, homeless, and/or public assistance recipients’ populations.

  • High attention to detail and strong organization skills

  • Ability to analyze situations, anticipate and/or detect problems and provide solutions.

  • Aptitude to manage time and tasks efficiently with little to no supervision.

  • Ability to think creatively and connect meeting business needs and social service goals.

  • Competitive, results driven personality with the ability to work well with others and in a team.

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools

  • Ability to meet deadlines, juggle multiple priorities, and excel in a team environment.
