Broome-Tioga BOCES JCLC - Program Assistant in Binghamton, New York
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans, coordinates, and oversees special projects
Organizes and maintains central filing systems
Collection and updating of Work-Based Learning strategic planning data & Perkins Grant data
Maintains program data for Adult Education & Odyssey of the Mind programs
Direct support for five programs
Attends meetings and maintains reports
May assist professional staff in planning and administering in-service training programs
Job Qualifications
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from a NYS registered or regionally accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree, OR
Graduation from a NYS registered or regionally accredited college or university with an Associate’s Degree and two years of clerical experience in and office setting which must have involved maintaining electronic records in a database or spreadsheet applications; OR
Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma and four years of clerical experience in an office setting which must have involved maintaining electronic records in a database or spreadsheet application; OR
An equivalent combination of training and experience as outlined by the limits of A), B) and C) above.
