Robert Half Project Manager in Bethesda, Maryland

Description

Robert Half is working with a growing real estate development firm in Bethesda, MD to assist them in finding their next Project Manager. This is a full-time position and requires candidates to work in-person in Bethesda or on project sites.

Responsibilities for this Project Manager Include:

  • Commercial Construction Project Management: Oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.

  • Proposal Writing: Prepare comprehensive project proposals, including scope of work, cost estimates, and timelines, tailored to client requirements and specifications.

  • Project Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and implementing cost-saving measures to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.

  • Client Communication and Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the construction process.

  • Team Coordination and Leadership: Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure efficient project execution. Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering collaboration and maintaining high standards of performance.

  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with construction projects, developing strategies to mitigate risks and resolve issues proactively to minimize disruptions and delays.

    Requirements

  • Foundational knowledge in Construction Management

  • Practical knowledge of budget management

  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction

  • Construction engineering experience

  • General familiarity with proposals and RFPs

  • Adeptness in construction project accounting

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request

  • Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required

  • Prior knowledge in Spreadsheet and ERP system

  • AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
