Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience leading complex technical/engineering programs.

  • Experience in managing entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure.

  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, etc.

  • Good exposure to product development, quality, build and release processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Cloud, Databases, Storage, and SaaS domains.

  • Previous experience of working in Enterprise Product companies or fast-paced Start-ups is highly desirable.

  • Ability to drive high visibility strategic and innovation programs from end to end.

  • Analytical Skills that include data crunching, business intelligence, analytics – exploratory, predictive, and prescriptive.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced professional who enjoys managing programs targeted towards building complex, highly technical products and services from ground up. As a member of the HDIP team, you will help us define the future of services used daily by both customers and internal teams.

  • Be an agile expert and incorporate agile practices within the team.

  • Mentor the team on agile processes, frameworks, and methodologies.

  • Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering Leaders, Engineering team and other stake holders to initiate, define, plan, and execute programs targeting various technical and non-technical initiatives in the team.

  • Keep all the stakeholders updated and involved to meet delivery timelines. Define tools and trackers to keep everyone on the same page.

  • Identify dependencies for every planned delivery and liaise with different teams to make sure that dependencies are met on time with quality.

  • Be on top of development, build, quality, and release processes. Identify gaps if any and bring people together to address those gaps.

  • Identify risks at every step on time and come up with elaborate well defined plans to mitigate them.

  • Define strategies, regularly participate in executive meetings to present progress and share project information with stakeholders.

  • Bring in small and large process improvements as and when necessary and evangelize the same on a regular basis.

  • Help with hiring and making the hiring process more efficient.

  • Make the team’s decision making more data driven by gathering data at every step, analyzing it, and finally transforming the analysis into wisdom that can be prescriptive in nature.

  • Build cross-team relationships, play a thought leader, and create Org wide impact.

  • Mentor and guide program managers to be more effective at their roles and eventually grow them into leaders.
