Summary:The Sr. Mechanical Engineer will lead project teams through generating conceptual ideas to design, development, fabrication, and testing processes. Lead bid & proposal efforts.

Develop mechanisms and computer-controlled mechanical systems from conceptual design and analyses, through manufacturing, integration, and test.
Document designs, analyses, and test results.
Prepare technical proposals, reports/briefings, and present briefings to management, customers, etc.
Perform project management tasks including planning/tracking of project resources, costs, schedule, and scope.
Oversee and manage work of junior engineering staff and provide mentorship and guidance.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
8 years’ experience required
4 years with USACE project experience required
Experienced in leading project teams
Must have professional experience in mechanical system design; CAD; machine kinematics and dynamics modeling and simulation; structural analysis using finite element software; and manufacturing processes.
Solid background in business development
PE certification required
Secret Clearance required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Working knowledge of government/military contracting procedures, standards, and specifications.
Ability to travel.
