Summary:The Claims Analyst is responsible for the review, analysis, processing and approval of claims and adjustments received from customers and investigate remittance deductions and customer accounts to help maintain current status.

Review and analyze all customer complaints or claims to assure they are in accordance with company policy.
Follow-up on customer requests or disputes and coordinate the claims-adjustments activity with various departments to assure proper settlement.
Maintain files of customers’ debits and review each complaint to determine whether or not it is to be allowed or disallowed Analyze and review all Trade Management claims for approval, chargeback, offset, or reassignment as appropriate.
Obtain supporting documentation and necessary backup required prior to reassigning.
Report and communicate status of aging claims on assigned accounts.
Report on a monthly and annual basis certain benchmarks pertaining to claims processed and claims outstanding.
Review claims to determine similarities, patterns, or trends and coordinate with the customer, cash application team, and assigned Credit Analyst to determine root cause and resolve the underlying issue triggering the claim.
Initiate and maintain contact with customers in regard to open claims, deductions, disputed items, and credits.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
Bachelor’s of Science Degree required
8 years’ experience required
4 years with USACE project experience required
Secret Clearance required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
Demonstrated ability to work well with others is a matrix team environment.
Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial statements.
Ability to travel
