Intuit Senior Software Engineer, Performance Optimization Engine (Mailchimp) in Atlanta, Georgia

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team! In this role you will have the opportunity to work on cutting edge Generative AI products, collaborate with other squads and teams throughout the company, and you will serve as a representative for our group in cross-departmental projects.

Intuit Mailchimp is a hybrid workplace, giving employees the opportunity to collaborate in person with team members in our Atlanta and New York offices two or more days per week.

What you'll bring

  • You have 4 or more years of experience building and optimizing complicated user interfaces and extensive experience working within large-scale development.

  • Deep experience building beautiful, intuitive and accessible customer facing products.

  • Experience with frontend patterns, testing, debugging and

  • You are as comfortable working with and improving upon legacy systems and code as you are building new features and applications.

  • You have strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • You have experience developing new and enhancing existing features as well as investigating and resolving defects.

  • You adhere to internal coding standards, development processes, and design best practices.

  • You have extensive experience with frontend technologies such as React (strongly preferred), Jest, React Testing Library, HTML/CSS, etc.

  • Some fullstack knowledge is preferred, bonus points if that experience involves PHP.

How you will lead

  • You'll write and maintain scalable, efficient code for the Mailchimp product.

  • You'll share expertise with Development teammates through code reviews, office hours, Tech Talks, and other avenues.

  • You'll provide mentorship for fellow team members and collaborate with Senior / Staff engineers.

  • You'll research and propose new approaches to work, tools, and best practices for work.

  • You'll work with design and engineering team members to build features from concept through implementation.

  • You'll work independently with minimal supervision.

  • You'll foster an inclusive community on the team and within the company.
