Stop & Shop Distribution Center Technical Support Coordinator in Assonet, Massachusetts

The Technical Support Coordinator assists in maintaining a detailed knowledge of installation, use and maintenance of all Warehouse Management System equipment. Essential Functions to include but not limited to: - Assist with maintenance of control tables, settings and reporting capabilities of all warehousing systems and programs to achieve optimum performance. This includes but is not limited to: - EXE, Vocollect, Symbol RF and all connected ancillary systems. - Assist in development, deployment, and maintenance of complete training programs to educate distribution center associates about various warehouse management systems. Provide support in ensuring desired competency levels achieved with said training. - Assist in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and availability of all distribution systems, while also developing and implementing detailed emergency response and troubleshooting procedures to be used when systems are not functioning properly. - Assist in maintaining clear and frequent communication with site management about all Warehouse Management Systems, establishing a two-way dialogue on issues of productivity, performance, methods and physical infrastructure. Communication to be performed both orally and in written form. - Execute research and analysis to convey appropriate justification for current and future projects and recommending change through presentations to management. - Participate in orientation of new associates as necessary. - Determine system enhancements including testing, training, and implementation for new functionality. - Assisting other departments as necessary. Required Skills: - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. - Strong oral and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and with others. - Strong time management skills. - 1-2 yrs related work experience. - High School diploma. - Hybrid technical and administrative position.
