  • The Field Service Engineer (FSE) is to provide software integration and troubleshooting and configuration support to the IFS-N team in support of the PM DCGS-A program fielding to SIGINT Units.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

  • Support all aspects of the integration assigned from the lead Integrator and Government SIGINT lead.

  • Travel to scheduled SIGINT units to support IFS-N fielding and NET events

  • Documentation updates of hardware and post-clone guides in support of changes.

  • Assure integrated software is configured properly and is operational to support fielding to SIGINT units in PM DCGS-A program.

  • Support demo’s, formal test and validation and verification events in the GSIF lab.

  • Support tasks assigned on the fly by Government SIGINT lead as required.

  • Support the IASSO team with security related items to assure our ATO posture

  • Maintain the cadre of IFS-N stacks and lab equipment to assure its availability and readiness at any time to our own team and external users.

  • Provide support in the following areas:

  • During a new release software integration efforts to fielded units

  • During the IAVA patching process

  • SME support for PM FSE’s and 35T’s supporting the fielded systems

  • During testing and IV&V of the system in the GSIF

  • SME support for demo’s, JITC or NSTID visits

  • Support team meetings and participate with the lead integrator for status tracking and progress reporting.

  • Provide status updates to Government SIGINT lead on a weekly basis on any critical issues or concerns pertaining to the status of the current software release or hardware.

  • Provide SME support and travel support to fielded units

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position does not have formal supervisory responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of experience

  • Additional years of experience may be used in lieu of degree

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Red Hat Linux

  • Experience with the following NSA applications is a plus or past experience as an Analyst also a plus: ONEROOF, CASAPP, Niagara Files, GALE, TNG / GEONET, and UIS / LINGO

  • DoD 8570 IAT II certified

  • TS/SCI required, CI poly eligible.

  • Possess and maintain a valid state operator's license

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • A broad knowledge and understanding of DoD and Army Cybersecurity policies, tools, and techniques.

  • Understanding of Windows Server 2012, Red Hat Linux, VMware, VMSphere / Vcenter, ESXi, and PUPPET

  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision or guidance.

  • Ability to occasionally work after hours and/or on-call support.

  • Ability to meet minimum security clearance requirements.

  • Ability to travel 70% of the time.

  • Ability to support or provide basic training to external users on our software build and or the IFS-N system itself.

  • Ability to obtain a CI poly.
